Senior Project Manager / Project Lead – Electrical
Somerset | 12-Month Contract | Outside IR35 | Opportunity to Extend
We're recruiting for an experienced Electrical Senior Project Manager / Project Lead to join one of the key delivery partners on the Agratas Gigafactory project in Bridgwater, Somerset.
The Agratas Gigafactory is one of the UK's largest live construction projects and will become the country's biggest battery manufacturing facility. Backed by the Tata Group, the development represents a multi-billion-pound investment in UK manufacturing and will produce battery cells for the next generation of electric vehicles, supporting the UK's transition to net zero.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a leading role on a landmark project, taking responsibility for the delivery of major electrical and building services packages from installation through to testing, commissioning and handover.

Role
- Lead the delivery of large electrical and MEP packages across the project.
- Manage programme, commercial performance, quality and HSE throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate subcontractors, consultants and client teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Drive progress through procurement, installation, testing and commissioning.
- Manage project risks, reporting and stakeholder engagement.
- Provide leadership to project engineers and site delivery teams.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager, Project Lead or Senior Electrical Project Manager.
- Strong electrical engineering background with experience delivering major building services projects.
- Experience managing complex electrical installations including HV/LV infrastructure, power distribution, containment, lighting, life safety systems and associated MEP packages.
- Previous experience delivering large industrial, manufacturing, data centre, pharmaceutical, energy or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of NEC contracts and commercial project delivery.
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
