As part of Detection and Measurement, Enterprise Control Systems (ECS) is a leading supplier of long range data links that support real time high resolution video transfer between air and ground users. In creating products like RF inhibitors and specialized equipment for military and security purposes, we protect ground forces and infrastructure around the world.
How you will make an Impact (Job Summary)
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Project Manager with a strong technical background to oversee and deliver large-scale projects within our Data Links vertical. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to work cross functionally to complete projects; the ability to deal with complex situations/projects in international settings; and strong communications and organizational skills to successfully manage product deliveries, systems integration, field installations, customer training and technical support activities.
What you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)
While each day brings new opportunities at SPX, your core responsibilities will be:
- Manage full lifecycle of one major project and other smaller projects, from planning through to handover.
- Maintain schedules, project estimates, resource plans, budget tracking, monthly and quarterly status reports and conducts project meetings, customer reviews, and management reviews.
- Lead risk management and mitigation strategies across geographies, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
- Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope. Monitors staff progress, ensuring compliance with timelines, budget, ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
- Manage all on-site activities, including: site preparation; arrangements for and inspection of incoming shipments; installation and commissioning of hardware and software; performance of Factory and Site Acceptance Tests.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, and commercial functions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders during execution (manufacturing, installation and post-sale support periods).
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, regulatory standards, and company policies.
- Support sales and marketing activities in project and program management roles in preparation of proposals.
- Support contract negotiation, amendments, and project close-out activities.

What we are looking for (Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education)
We each bring something to the table, and we are looking for someone who has:
Required Experience
- A minimum of 6 years technical experience.
- A minimum of 6 years’ project management experience with a proven record of managing large and complex projects.
- Familiarity with RF technologies, ISR systems, or tactical communications is highly desirable.
- Prior experience working internationally or with global teams, especially across UK and Southeast Asia (preferred).

- Able to manage remote teams and virtual collaboration.

- International travel experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and Project.
- The ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and electrical / electronic schematics.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English are required.

Education & Certifications
- Qualified applicants should possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
- Relevant project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
Travel & Working Environment
- Hybrid working between office and home.
- Must be willing to travel internationally from 35%-50% of the time.
