Contract Project Manager (Digital Workplace)

Hybrid remote 1-2 days a week – Luton HQ

£65 per hour Inside IR35

SC clearance is essential

We are seeking an experienced security cleared Project Manager with Digital Workplace/Employee experience to support enterprise-wide initiatives focused on transforming the Digital workplace environment. You will work alongside the project team to deliver digital workplace projects that improve employee productivity, collaboration, and engagement.

Essential Experience

  • Project Management experience, ideally within large-scale digital transformation.
  • Proven experience delivering digital workplace, digital employee experience, or technology transformation projects.
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Experience managing complex projects and multiple workstreams.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience, including engagement with senior leadership.
  • Experience managing risks, issues, dependencies, budgets, and project governance.
  • Experience taking projects through operational readiness and service transition.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to produce clear executive-level reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple complex projects and workstreams simultaneously, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the required quality.
  • Follow established governance, project controls, and reporting processes.
  • Work closely with delivery, PMO, technology operations, and site operations teams.
  • Support vendor selection, contract reviews, and third-party delivery.
  • Ensure projects successfully complete Operational Readiness and Service Transition before entering live service.
  • Support steering committees and project working groups alongside Lead and Programme Managers.
  • Lead collaboration between technical, business, and operational teams.
  • Oversee the implementation and optimisation of digital workplace platforms and services.
  • Experience across technologies such as Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, intranet, HR systems, collaboration platforms, or endpoint technologies is highly desirable.
  • Drive adoption and measurable business value from digital solutions.
  • Work with Architecture and Security teams to ensure solutions are scalable and secure.
  • Help measure employee engagement and digital experience maturity.
