At Vanguard, we're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Corporate Change function and play a key role in delivering our European transformation agenda. This is an exciting opportunity to lead high-profile programmes and business-critical initiatives that enhance how we serve our investors, strengthen our operations, and support our long-term growth strategy.
Working alongside senior executives and cross-functional teams, you'll have the opportunity to deliver meaningful change across a broad range of strategic priorities while building strong relationships across one of the world's most respected asset managers.
What you’ll be doing
As a Senior Project Manager, you'll lead complex, cross-functional projects and transformation programmes from concept through to delivery, ensuring successful outcomes for the business and our investors.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading large-scale projects and multi-year programmes that support Vanguard Europe's strategic objectives
- Owning end-to-end project delivery, from initiation and planning through execution, implementation and benefits realisation
- Driving programme governance, planning, reporting, stakeholder engagement and change management activities
- Building trusted partnerships with senior leaders, subject matter experts and external vendors to align priorities and accelerate decision-making
- Identifying, managing and mitigating risks, dependencies and obstacles while providing clear recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Influencing and navigating across multiple business functions to ensure successful delivery in a complex environment
- Supporting broader Strategic Services priorities and contributing to the continuous improvement of project delivery practices

What it takes
We're seeking a highly motivated and intellectually curious change professional with a strong track record of delivering complex initiatives within financial services.
You'll bring:
- Significant project management experience within asset management, investments or investment platform environments
- A proven track record of successfully delivering a diverse portfolio of strategic, operational and regulatory change initiatives
- Experience managing complex stakeholder landscapes and influencing senior executives
- Demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously while balancing changing priorities
- Strong project governance, planning and delivery expertise, with exceptional attention to detail
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively and influence at all levels
- Experience working with Agile delivery methodologies and hybrid delivery frameworks
- Previous people leadership or line management experience would be advantageous
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
Special Factors
- Vanguard is not offering visa sponsorship for this position
- This is a hybrid position and would require you to work in the office 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday)
