Position Summary:
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be expected to Manage, oversee and coordinate key projects assigned to you, this may include managing direct reports on more complex schemes and multiple project activities over a range of projects.
As a senior team member, you will also be expected to support, Coach, Mentor and train the Project Managers within the team to improve individual skill sets and understanding.
You will be a strong communicator, building sound relationships with customers, General Contractors and stakeholders, taking a key role and lead with project escalations. You will have overall responsibility for customer satisfaction in all assigned projects.
Working with the commercial team support with technical aspects during the bid phases and then from project commencement you will have overall responsibility for execution and delivery of the scheme, including ensuring the supply chain is robust, contracts are duly in place, robust cost management is adhered to, management of PMs, and subcontractors; planning and scheduling contracts, preparation of revenue and invoicing forecasts for the team, Contract cost analysis and assist with Final accounts, variations and disputes.
Develops procedures collaboratively with the team and engages in regular process reviews.
This is a role that will require frequent travel and overnight stays in Europe.

Job Responsibilities:
- Manages, oversees and coordinates all aspects of Divisional project activities including, but not limited to, the following: planning, qualifying booked margin, review of proposals and bookings for the team. Coaches, Mentors the Divisional projects team to improve an individual’s skillset and productivity. Overall responsibility for customer satisfaction on all Projects and deliverables within the Division.
- Overall responsibility for execution of contracts – estimated cost vs. actual cost; review of contracts; supervision of Managers and subcontractors; planning and scheduling contracts, preparation of invoices, and collections.
- Overall responsibility for the divisional department
- Effectively communicates goals to the Projects team and communicate with the wider organization as and when required and maintains accurate and up to date job cost records, and other control records necessary for processing of internal and external reports.
- Develops and implements strategies under the guidance of the operations team that improve execution and provide additional value to customers in a cost-effective manner.
- Proactively communicates with and seeks feedback from all customers. Seeks to continuously improve customer satisfaction.
- Meets with their and their PM’s customers on a regular basis to ensure that we are providing quality installations and meeting their individual needs.
- Utilizes financial systems to review actual vs. estimated contract costs and to provide timely and accurate financial reports for both their and their teams Projects.
- Manages individual performance and personal development of assigned Project Management team resources including appraisals along with performance of subcontractors and LSP’s.
- Supervises colleagues (typically, Project Managers, Project Specialists, Engineering Specialists, Customer Support Specialists, and/or Installers) in a manner that maintains morale, skills proficiency and productivity. Assist with Recruitment and hire team members as required. Managerial responsibilities include but are not limited to: mentoring, coaching and developing colleagues; planning, assigning and directing work; performance management; project budget.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required by the operations management team.

Job Skills Requirements:
- Strong management skills related to Project and People Management
- Customer Focus – Maintaining awareness of and seeking to meet of the needs and wants of the customer
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Leadership Orientation – Actively seeks ways in which to act as a role model, guide, develop and mentor others within the Divisional Department; Strong team leadership, team building and facilitation skills
- Initiative – Engages in proactive behavior and looks for new project opportunities
- Adaptability – Responds effectively to changes in situation or information
- Strong financial analytical skills including cost control
- Excellent Microsoft Outlook, Project, Excel, Word and Power Point skills

Education Requirements:
- Higher Education or University Graduate in Project Management.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of Two years of previous Senior Project Management, either in service, field or office-based Project Management experience
- Experience of Management in one or more of the following industries preferred: Electronic Security, Network/IT.
- Previous People Management experience
Certifications & Licenses:
- Project Management Institute (PMP/PMI) certification preferred but not essential; industry-specific certifications and/or licenses required; must have valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
