Senior Project Manager – Nottingham

Location: Nottingham – 3 days on-site per week
Contract: 3-6 months initially, with extension
Start: November 2026; candidates with a 4-week notice period can be considered
IR35: Inside IR35, Rate: £DOE

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a large and complex technology transformation programme focused on logistics and supply chain for a retail client.

The project is centred around the processes involved in forecasting stock demand, replenishment and stock movements across stores. Their technology helps determine expected sales and stock levels, using this information to make recommendations around what stock should be ordered and when.

We are looking for someone who has previously delivered technology projects within supply chain, logistics, retail or a similar environment, and who is comfortable managing complex projects involving multiple technical and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of a large, complex technology project from planning through to implementation.
  • Work across supply chain processes including stock forecasting, replenishment, warehouse-to-store movements and demand planning.
  • Bring together multiple technical teams and workstreams to ensure everyone is working towards a coordinated delivery plan.
  • Manage projects involving design, development, integration and technology delivery.
  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, Data, SAP, Integration and legacy technology teams.
  • Coordinate with third-party/offshore delivery partners.
  • Work closely with a Supply Chain Product Owner and senior business stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans and ensure these are agreed and understood across all teams.
  • Manage dependencies, risks, issues, timelines and delivery milestones across multiple workstreams.
  • Facilitate decision-making where different teams or stakeholders have competing views or priorities.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders at different levels, from technical teams through to senior business stakeholders.
  • Ensure technical delivery remains aligned with the wider business objectives and supply chain transformation.
  • Manage a significant and complex programme environment, with individual projects potentially in the £10m–£15m range.
  • Use tools such as Jira and Confluence to manage delivery, documentation, planning and collaboration.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
