Senior Project Manager
We are working with a leading Tier 1 commercial fit-out contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their growing Central London team.
The business specialises in the delivery of high-quality CAT A and CAT B commercial fit-out projects, working with some of the capital's most prominent developers, landlords, occupiers and professional teams. With projects ranging up to £25m, this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Senior Project Manager looking to take responsibility for major, technically demanding projects in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
As Senior Project Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of commercial fit-out projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover.
You will lead the project team, manage key client and consultant relationships, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, to the required quality standards and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Taking overall responsibility for the successful delivery of CAT A and CAT B commercial fit-out projects up to £25m.
- Leading and managing the project team, including Project Managers, Site Managers and wider construction teams.
- Managing the programme, procurement, commercial performance, quality and delivery strategy.
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and supply-chain partners.
- Leading project meetings and providing clear and regular reporting to senior management and the client.
- Managing design development and coordination across the project team.
- Working closely with the commercial team to manage costs, variations, valuations and financial performance.
- Ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with health & safety, quality and environmental requirements.
- Identifying and managing project risks, opportunities and potential delays.
- Driving high standards of quality and ensuring successful completion and handover.
- Mentoring and developing junior members of the project team.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong track record of delivering commercial CAT A and CAT B fit-out projects within Central London.
Ideally, you will have:
- Significant experience working for a Tier 1 or leading main contractor.
- A proven track record of delivering projects in the £10m–£25m+ range.
- Strong CAT A and CAT B commercial fit-out experience.
- Excellent technical, commercial and contractual understanding.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary project teams.
- The ability to build strong relationships with clients and professional teams.
- A proactive and commercially minded approach to project delivery.
- A strong understanding of construction programmes, procurement and project controls.
- Relevant construction qualifications such as a degree/HNC/HND in Construction Management or a related discipline.
- SMSTS and CSCS qualifications.
- Ideally, experience working on high-end commercial office developments within Central London.
