Senior Project Manager

We're looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our team based in Stansted.

Location: Stansted

Hours: Full-time - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and oversee the successful delivery of high value, technically complex construction projects. You'll be responsible for achieving operational and commercial goals through effective management of project teams and stakeholders, whilst driving projects to completion on time, on budget, and with a focus on safety and quality. You'll act as a mentor and key point of contact for clients, promoting excellent working relationships and supporting the development of your team.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Senior Project Manager, you'll be working within the project team, supporting them in delivering exceptional results for our clients. Your day to day will include:

  • Leading assigned projects from second stage tender through to delivery, overseeing site teams to manage performance against programme and budget
  • Selecting and leading project teams, managing multi-discipline teams to deliver against client expectations
  • Ongoing management of project budgets and timely, accurate reporting on progress to clients and stakeholders
  • Identifying solutions to technical and logistical challenges that arise on projects
  • Taking overall responsibility for implementation of Kier's health and safety policies, ensuring compliance across all teams

What are we looking for?

This role of Senior Project Manager is great for you if:

  • You have significant experience in leading projects of substantial value from pre-construction to delivery
  • You have demonstrable experience of managing project budgets and programmes effectively
  • You possess strong communication skills with the ability to collate and produce reports for leadership
  • You have expert knowledge of delivery under NEC and JCT contract conditions
  • You hold a relevant construction qualification at degree level or equivalent, and membership with a relevant professional body such as CIOB or ICE
