We are currently partnering with a rapidly growing specialty Insurer to recruit a Senior Project Manager, focusing on European Expansion. The successful candidate will support the Programme Manager in delivering the European growth strategy by planning, coordinating, and executing business and IT projects that implement key capabilities and operating models to achieve strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities:

  • Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate and allocate project resources to ensure efficient delivery across the portfolio.
  • Create, manage, and monitor project budgets, providing regular financial updates to sponsors.
  • Conduct change impact assessments and support change readiness activities.
  • Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships through clear, transparent communication.
  • Manage project communications, ensuring timely updates and effective coordination across all parties.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating where appropriate.
  • Facilitate workshops, steering committees, and project meetings to drive alignment and decision-making.
  • Monitor project performance, track progress against plans, and implement corrective actions where required.
  • Ensure all project documentation, deliverables, and governance processes meet agreed quality standards.
  • Resolve project challenges and stakeholder conflicts proactively to maintain delivery momentum.

  • Experience working within the Lloyd’s/London Insurance Market.
  • Knowledge and proven experience in project managing new country launches, as well as launches of new commercial insurance products.
  • An extensive Project Management background, focused on business change.
