We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of high-profile transformation and improvement projects within a large public sector organisation. Working across a portfolio of established and emerging work streams, you will bring structure, pace, governance and control to complex projects. You will lead delivery teams, manage Project Managers and Project Support Officers, and work closely with senior stakeholders, subject-matter experts and delivery partners to ensure successful outcomes.
The Role
This is a senior, hands-on position with responsibility for managing multiple concurrent projects from inception through to delivery, transition, benefits realisation and closure.
You will operate with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced and complex environment, balancing competing priorities and stakeholder interests while ensuring projects remain aligned to organisational objectives. You will provide clear direction, robust governance and evidence-based recommendations to support effective decision-making.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
