Senior Project Manager | Hospitality & Leisure | Developments & Acquisitions
We're partnering with a leading hospitality and leisure operator as they embark on an exciting phase of growth, investment, and portfolio expansion.
This is not a traditional refurbishment role.
Instead, we're looking for a commercially minded Senior Project Manager to lead major developments and acquisitions, taking projects from pre-acquisition exclusivity through to operational handover. You'll be responsible for the successful delivery of large-scale conversions, new-build developments, and strategic growth projects that will directly shape the future of the portfolio.
The Opportunity:
This is a highly visible position sitting at the intersection of Development, M&A, Property, and Operations.
You'll lead multidisciplinary project teams throughout the full development lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in line with operational and brand requirements.
Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business, you'll take ownership of project governance, commercial performance, programme management, and stakeholder engagement while helping deliver ambitious growth plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading major hospitality or leisure development and conversion projects from acquisition through to completion
- Managing project scope, delivery strategy, programme, and critical path activities
- Working closely with M&A teams during pre-acquisition and due diligence phases
- Taking ownership of project budgets, cost reporting, and financial performance
- Managing procurement strategies, tender processes, and consultant appointments
- Monitoring contractor and consultant performance throughout delivery
- Coordinating design development and stakeholder approvals
- Managing project risks, governance, and reporting
- Ensuring successful operational handover and project close-out
- Driving commercial decision-making whilst protecting quality and brand standards

About You:
We're keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate:
- Significant project management experience within hospitality, leisure, commercial property, or construction
- A proven track record delivering major capital, development, or conversion projects
- Strong commercial awareness and budget management capability
- Experience managing consultants, contractors, and professional teams
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- The ability to balance commercial objectives with technical and operational requirements
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to work autonomously
