The Role Outline: The Executive Brief

As our Senior Project Manager, you are the commercial driving force behind our major hotel developments and acquisitions. To be clear: this role does not cover standard refurbs or routine capital investment. You will be taking ownership of massive, multi-million-pound new builds and hotel conversions, driving them from pre-acquisition exclusivity all the way to operational handover. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, fiercely protect the budget, manage complex critical paths, and ensure our new assets are delivered safely, on time, and completely aligned with the Village brand.

Why Village?

At Village, we do hospitality a little differently. We are all about personality, genuine connections, and creating truly unique hotel environments including lively spaces for our guests to work, eat, relax, and play.

We are entering an incredibly exciting period of commercial expansion, and we need a heavyweight project leader who thrives on commercial risk management and complex stakeholder alignment. If you have the technical understanding and commercial rigour to build hotels from the ground up, we will give you the platform to leave a massive footprint on our growing portfolio. Because it really does take a Village.

How The Village Thrives

We live our culture through three simple commitments:

  • We Can & We Do: We show up to make a genuine difference and do fantastic work every day, with purpose.
  • We Will: Treat each other with respect and dignity. No ego, no drama. We try our best and look out for each other.
  • We Care: We care about our impact on guests, the community, and each other.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
