Senior Project Manager in Marketing Technologies (m/w/d)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Project Manager in Marketing Technologies (m/w/d) based in United Kingdom.

This is a senior-level opportunity to lead complex digital and Marketing Technology projects from initial planning through implementation, launch, and optimization.

You’ll act as the central link between customers, technical specialists, and business stakeholders, turning ambitious goals into structured delivery plans.

The role combines strategic project leadership with enough technical depth to navigate AI, data, digital platforms, integrations, and implementation constraints.

You’ll coordinate multidisciplinary teams spanning Engineering, AI, Data, UX, Analytics, and Marketing to deliver measurable business outcomes.

Strong ownership, proactive risk management, budget control, and clear stakeholder communication will be central to your success.

You’ll operate in a dynamic, fast-moving environment where ambiguity is common and the ability to create structure and momentum is highly valued.

It’s an ideal role for an experienced project leader who enjoys customer-facing work, complex technology, and driving impactful digital transformation.

Accountabilities:

  • Take end-to-end ownership of complex Marketing Technology and digital projects, from solution definition and planning through implementation, launch, and continuous optimization.
  • Translate customer needs and business objectives into clearly defined project scopes, delivery plans, milestones, work packages, and actionable tasks in collaboration with technical leads.
  • Build and manage project roadmaps, backlogs, priorities, dependencies, and delivery timelines in close alignment with customers and internal teams.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across software development, AI, data, UX, analytics, and marketing to ensure effective collaboration and high-quality delivery.
  • Proactively manage schedules, resources, dependencies, risks, issues, and blockers to maintain transparent and predictable project execution.
  • Drive project-level decisions throughout the delivery lifecycle, balancing customer expectations, technical feasibility, resources, timelines, budgets, and business objectives.
  • Own project budget planning, monitoring, and financial transparency while continuously aligning scope, effort, and project progress.
  • Engage in technical discussions with sufficient depth to understand architecture considerations, implementation constraints, data dependencies, integration requirements, and delivery risks.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, structured, and business-relevant communication for customers, business stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with customers through proactive communication, transparent project management, and consistent alignment.
  • Prepare and facilitate customer meetings, project updates, workshops, steering committees, and decision-making sessions.
  • Identify risks, blockers, scope changes, and opportunities for improvement early, and proactively recommend practical solutions.
  • Advise customers on priorities and informed decision-making while clearly communicating the implications of scope, budget, timelines, and technical complexity.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
