About The Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead significant infrastructure development projects in Derby. This crucial role involves managing complex projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will collaborate with engineering teams, stakeholders, and external contractors to achieve project objectives and drive infrastructure improvements. This is an excellent opportunity to make a substantial impact on infrastructure development in the Derbyshire area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources efficiently.
  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and external consultants.
  • Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations, standards, and safety protocols.
  • Identify potential risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Communicate project progress, challenges, and outcomes to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience as a Project Manager, with a strong background in infrastructure projects.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects with significant budgets and timelines.
  • In-depth knowledge of infrastructure development processes and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and reporting tools.
  • Relevant degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
