Senior Remediation Engineer

Location: Bristol

Salary: GBP45,000 - GBP55,000 (Dependent on Experience)

Are you an experienced Senior Remediation Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Remediation Engineer to join a highly respected environmental restoration and contaminated land consultancy operating across the UK. The company delivers a wide range of remediation, brownfield redevelopment, and environmental improvement projects throughout the UK.

As a Senior Remediation Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, management, and delivery of remediation schemes, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions for complex contaminated land challenges. Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and delivering remediation projects from inception through to completion
  • Developing remediation strategies and remedial design solutions for contaminated land sites
  • Overseeing remediation contractors and site-based activities
  • Undertaking site assessments and interpreting environmental and geological data
  • Preparing technical reports, remediation verification reports, and risk assessments
  • Liaising with clients, regulators, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams
  • Mentoring and supporting junior engineers and consultants
  • Managing project budgets, programmes, and resource allocation
  • Ensuring compliance with current environmental legislation and health and safety standards
  • Supporting business development initiatives and maintaining strong client relationships
