Senior Project Manager — Cloud & Data
Location: London, United Kingdom
Duration: 6-month contract
About Cloudworkz
Cloudworkz is a cloud and data consulting company helping enterprise customers deliver cloud migration, modernisation and data transformation programmes. Our teams bring together cloud architecture, engineering and delivery expertise to turn business priorities into working solutions.
The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead customer-facing cloud and data engagements over a six-month contract. You will connect business stakeholders with technical teams, establish a practical delivery plan and keep complex projects moving from discovery through implementation and handover.
What You Will Do
- Own delivery plans, milestones, scope, budgets and resource coordination across cloud and data workstreams.
- Translate business objectives into clear deliverables, acceptance criteria and measurable outcomes with customer sponsors and technical leads.
- Lead Agile delivery: facilitate planning, reviews and retrospectives, support backlog prioritisation and adapt the approach to the engagement.
- Coordinate architects, cloud engineers, data engineers and customer teams; resolve dependencies and remove blockers.
- Maintain risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies, with clear owners and timely escalation.
- Run customer governance and steering meetings, communicating progress, trade-offs and decisions clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Manage scope changes and delivery forecasts, working within agreed statements of work.
- Coordinate testing, release readiness, operational handover and customer acceptance.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
