Senior Project Manager - Live Events

London / Hybrid (2 days per week) | Permanent, Full-Time | Operations | Circa. £50K-£55K

Big brands. Bigger stages. Global reach.

Do you thrive when a project spans three continents, six suppliers, and a client who expects nothing short of extraordinary? Are you the person a room turns to when the brief gets bigger, the deadline gets tighter, and the stakes get higher?

We're looking for a Senior Project Manager who has cut their teeth in the fast-paced world of events agencies, delivering large-scale conferences, exhibitions, gala dinners, activations, and incentive programmes that don't just meet client expectations, they exceed them.

This isn't a role for someone who wants to coast. It's for a proven leader who wants to run complex, high-value accounts, build a team around them, and leave every event better than they found it, commercially, creatively, and sustainably.

What you'll be doing

  • Owning the big stuff. You'll lead the delivery of complex, large-scale events from first brief to final report - managing multi-supplier logistics, onsite delivery, and everything in between.
  • Leading people, not just projects. You'll manage a team of Project Managers, Senior Project Executives, and Project Executives - coaching, developing, and holding the standard high.
  • Growing real relationships. You'll hold your own portfolio of client accounts, becoming the trusted partner who spots the next opportunity before the client even asks.
  • Making the numbers work. From budget management and supplier negotiation to invoicing and post-event reconciliation, you'll bring commercial sharpness to everything you touch.
  • Thinking global. Sourcing venues and DMCs, coordinating ground programmes, managing time zones, and delivering flawlessly - wherever in the world the event takes you.
  • Doing it responsibly. Sustainability isn't an afterthought here - it's built into the plan, pitch, and delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
