About L'Atelier Five

We're a multi Award-Winning design studio working across luxury Brand Activations, Flagship Interiors, Events, and Pop-Ups. Our portfolio spans Luxury Retail, Hospitality, Global Brand environments, and cultural projects. We work with brands like Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Cartier, Hermès, Diageo, and L'Oréal.

We're an ambitious studio! You work closely with the Founder and Head of Design, and you'll have genuine autonomy on complex projects from brief through delivery.

The Role

You'll own projects end-to-end: Brief, Scope, Timeline, Production Quality, delivery. You'll manage budgets typically £150k–£1.5Mk, juggle multiple live projects across different timelines, and coordinate with our London and Dubai teams. You'll work directly with our creative and production teams, and you'll know when decisions need escalation.

What you'll own:

  • Project Ownership: Brief through installation. Full responsibility for timelines, budgets, quality, and team coordination.
  • International logistics: Manage production partners across Europe, Eastern Europe, Asia, and North Africa. Source, brief, and oversee delivery.
  • Multiple concurrent projects: Comfort juggling 4 to 6 live briefs with different scopes, stakeholders, and timelines.
  • Client relationships: Work with prestigious luxury brands. Understand their needs, communicate clearly, solve problems resourcefully.
  • Production quality: Know materials, technical drawings, processes, and H&S procedures (especially GTR, Luxury department stores and events environments).
  • Work collaboratively with leadership on strategic decisions: Understand when decisions need the Founder's involvement. Manage that process professionally.
  • Team coordination: Work across London and Dubai. Brief designers, producers, and suppliers. Manage expectations across time zones.

You'll thrive here if:

  • You've managed large budgets on complex, multi-location projects in luxury retail, GTR, events, exhibitions, or brand activations.
  • You have real experience with production logistics: sourcing artisan partners, managing international timelines, quality control.
  • You understand retail and events H&S procedures, retail environments, and exhibition logistics (knowledge of travel retail is a plus).
  • You're independent and resourceful: you solve problems without constant hand-holding.
  • You're detail-oriented: materials, technical drawings, timelines, compliance all matter to you.
  • You can communicate clearly with designers, clients, makers, and suppliers.
  • You understand luxury sector standards: high expectations, perfectionism, discretion.
  • You speak French (valued for our European network; not required).
  • You're genuinely curious about how things are made and how to make them beautifully.

What You Bring

Essential:

  • 5+ years as Senior PM or Operations Lead managing multiple large projects in luxury retail, GTR, events, exhibitions, or brand activations
  • Proven ability to manage multiple international projects simultaneously
  • Experience sourcing and overseeing production partners across multiple geographies
  • Knowledge of retail H&S procedures, exhibition logistics, and international compliance
  • Understanding of materials, technical drawings, and production processes
  • Strong project management skills: timeline, budget, risk, quality, escalation
  • Self-directed: you problem-solve and own outcomes

Valued:

  • Background in luxury brand activations, Operations, Luxury Retail, or Exhibition
  • Experience in global travel retail (airports, cruise, duty-free environments)
  • Retainer or ongoing account management (monthly contracts)
  • French language
  • Track record with artisan or bespoke production networks

The Culture

You'll work with the Founder (strategic, client facing), Head of Design (creative vision and onsite leadership), and our Dubai based Operation Director. It's a hands-on environment: things move fast, problems get solved directly, and we hold ourselves to luxury standards. You'll be trusted to represent LA5 internationally and make decisions on projects.
