The Role
As Senior Project Manager, you will lead the planning and execution of a complex development programme, coordinating activities across multiple technical and business functions.
You will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones
- Managing project scope, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies
- Coordinating cross-functional teams across Development, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and other key functions
- Driving projects through development and towards commercialisation
- Monitoring progress against timelines, budget, and agreed objectives
- Providing clear project updates and reporting to senior stakeholders
- Managing internal and external stakeholders and suppliers
- Supporting governance, decision-making, and escalation of key issues
- Ensuring projects are delivered in line with relevant quality, regulatory, and company requirements
- Identifying opportunities to improve project management processes and ways of working
- Providing strong leadership and direction without necessarily having direct line-management responsibility

About You
We are particularly interested in experienced Project / Programme Managers with a background in medical devices, combination products, or highly regulated product development.
You will ideally have:
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager / Programme Manager
- Strong experience within medical devices, MedTech, pharma, or combination products
- Experience leading complex cross-functional development programmes
- Strong understanding of project planning, governance, risk, and issue management
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and external partners
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- The ability to operate independently in a fast-moving environment
- A track record of delivering projects against challenging timelines

Experience in one or more of the following would be highly valuable:
- Drug-device combination products
- Respiratory / inhalation products
- Medical device development
- Product development through to industrialisation or commercialisation
- NPI / NPD
- Clinical development programmes
- Supplier / procurement management
- Pharma or biotech environments
- PMP, PRINCE2, APM, or equivalent project management training
