Lead complex transformation programmes
With the autonomy to shape delivery, influence senior stakeholders and take ownership of the commercial outcome.
A major global Microsoft partner is looking for a consulting-led Senior Project Manager to deliver ambitious business transformation projects. Combining the backing of an established international business with deep Microsoft expertise, this is an opportunity to take on substantial client engagements and help organisations turn technology investment into meaningful business change.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations sits at the heart of the role, with opportunities to lead connected initiatives across customer engagement, data, AI, automation and Azure. You will bring the judgement to connect these workstreams, manage their dependencies and keep delivery focused on the outcomes that matter to the client.
The Opportunity
You will own the delivery of complex client engagements, building trusted relationships with sponsors and leading multidisciplinary teams from mobilisation through to go-live, adoption and transition into support. Your remit will cover delivery strategy, stakeholder alignment, project financials, scope and change control. You will be trusted to make decisions, challenge assumptions and bring clarity when priorities compete.
The work can span finance and operational transformation, wider business process change and the integration of Microsoft platforms across an organisation. Alongside Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management, projects may involve Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement applications, Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric, Azure and emerging Copilot and AI agent capabilities.
You will work with specialists across these technologies, translating technical complexity into clear choices about business value, cost, risk and delivery.
What you will lead
Consulting and client relationships
- Build credibility with executive sponsors, business leaders and technology stakeholders, becoming a trusted delivery partner throughout the engagement.
- Understand the business case, organisational context and measures of success, and use them to guide delivery decisions.
- Lead steering committees and difficult conversations with clear recommendations, transparent reporting and a practical route forward.
- Navigate competing priorities across functions, regions and delivery partners, securing decisions and maintaining accountability.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You will bring:
- A strong track record of leading substantial ERP or business transformation projects within a consultancy, systems integrator or Microsoft partner.
- Experience delivering Dynamics 365 F&O programmes, with an understanding of the business processes, dependencies and delivery risks involved.
- Ownership of project commercials, including budgets, forecasting, resource utilisation and formal change control.
- Confidence engaging senior stakeholders, challenging constructively and resolving difficult delivery or commercial issues.

You do not need to be a specialist in every technology; you need to lead the people who are, understand the implications of their recommendations and help clients make informed decisions.
