Job Opportunity: Project Manager - Logistics Smartsheet Replacement

Smartedge’s Client is looking for an individual to help with their PM - Project Power (Logistics Smartsheet Replacement) on a Contract role in Remote (UK / Romania / Ireland)

Job Summary:

Project Power is a strategic enterprise transformation initiative to replace 96 operational Smartsheet artifacts currently supporting Clario's global Logistics operations with a purpose-built Microsoft Power Platform solution integrated with ERP systems. This role requires more than a coordinator. We are seeking a highly proactive Project Manager who takes full ownership, drives decisions, challenges assumptions, escalates risks early, and is comfortable holding senior stakeholders accountable. The ideal candidate thrives in complex enterprise environments and has a strong track record of delivering transformational business-critical programs under fixed deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Program & Delivery Management

  • Own and maintain the integrated project plan across all project phases:
    • Mobilization
    • Design
    • MVP Build Expansion
    • Migration
    • Go-Live
  • Manage execution against critical milestone dates and delivery commitments.
  • Lead cross-functional coordination across business and technology teams.
  • Ensure successful delivery through the June 2027 Smartsheet sunset deadline.
  • Coordinate multiple parallel workstreams, releases, and dependencies.

Required Qualifications

Must-Have Experience

  • 10+ years of Project/Program Management experience delivering enterprise technology initiatives.
  • 7+ years of proven experience managing large-scale, cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholder groups.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated ability to own and maintain integrated project plans.
  • 5+ years of strong governance, reporting, and delivery management skills.
  • Exceptional risk, issue, and dependency management experience.
  • Experience managing geographically distributed teams across multiple time zones.
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Proven ability to drive accountability and decision-making.
  • Track record of successfully managing complex system implementation projects.
  • Experience taking ownership of in-flight projects and leading transition activities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Life Sciences, Clinical Research, Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, or other regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of GxP and CSV validation frameworks.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform projects.
  • ERP integration project experience involving Oracle EBS and/or JD Edwards.
  • Azure DevOps expertise.
  • Experience managing vendor transitions and consulting handoffs.
