Senior Project Manager
Location: Trawsfynydd, North Wales (minimum 3 days onsite per week) with occasional travel to Manchester and some remote working available.
Contract: 11 months (possible extension)
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of a portfolio of major infrastructure projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a delivery-focused leader with experience managing complex programmes, multidisciplinary teams, and project lifecycles from early planning through to completion.
Job Overview
As a Senior Project Manager, you will take ownership of multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You will provide leadership across project teams, drive operational excellence, and work closely with commercial, supply chain, and stakeholder groups to achieve successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop high-performing project delivery teams
- Support pre-construction planning activities
- Oversee projects throughout design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement
- Utilize operational performance data to drive decision-making
- Ensure strong collaboration across internal and external stakeholders
- Champion health, safety, and environmental performance
- Maintain commercial awareness throughout project delivery
Requirements
Essential
- Proven experience as a delivery-focused operational leader
- Significant experience managing multiple complex projects within major UK infrastructure programmes
- Knowledge of construction contract law and forms of contract
- Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships at all levels
- Competent in MS Office, document control systems, Primavera, and CEMAR
- Relevant CSCS Card
