Position: Senior Project Manager – Major Projects
Contract: 12 months rolling - Outside IR35
Location: Wormington, Gloucestershire
Work Pattern: Full-time – Site Based
We're recruiting for a Senior Project Manager for a major infrastructure contractor delivering a large-scale EPC project within the UK energy sector.
Responsibilities
- Lead the safe delivery of the project, ensuring targets for safety, time, cost, and quality are achieved
- Manage programme, project risks, change, and key interfaces
- Lead project meetings and maintain strong client, stakeholder, and supply chain relationships
- Oversee subcontractor and supply chain performance
- Support commercial forecasting, cost control, and project reporting
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, industry standards, and SHEQ requirements
- Support testing, commissioning, and project close-out

Qualifications
- 10+ years' experience as a Project Manager delivering large-scale EPC projects
- Experience within UK gas, energy, infrastructure, or heavy engineering environments
- Strong commercial, contract, cost, and programme management experience
- Experience with NEC or similar forms of contract
- Proven track record delivering projects from start to finish
- Experience managing health and safety within a main contractor environment
- SMSTS, IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent would be advantageous
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to be site-based during the week
