Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

This opportunity offers the chance to make a tangible impact on a nationally significant nuclear programme while working alongside experienced international delivery teams. The role will suit someone who enjoys solving complex project challenges, engaging with customers, and bringing structure and momentum to critical engineering projects.

Preferred Profile

  • Proven Project Management experience within Nuclear, Energy, Infrastructure, Defence, Rail, or other major project environments.
  • Strong customer and stakeholder management experience.
  • Experience delivering complex engineering, construction, or industrial programmes.
  • Working knowledge of NEC3 or NEC4 contracts, including change management processes.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and external suppliers.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to identify delivery risks and drive successful outcomes.
  • Reside locally to Somerset/South West UK or be willing to relocate, as this permanent role does not include travel expense coverage.

Please note that visa sponsorship is not guaranteed and is assessed on a case-by-case basis, depending on role criticality and project needs. Many of our UK projects require high-level security clearance, meaning we can often only consider candidates with an existing, indefinite right to work in the UK. Exceptionally, we may consider visa sponsorship for applicants with niche experience aligned to our core work (e.g., EPR/nuclear new build).

  • Competitive salary tailored to your experience and background.
  • 25 Days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays, with the ability to swap bank holidays for cultural or religious celebrations.
  • Matched Pension Scheme.
  • Enhanced Maternity, Paternity, Adoption, and Neonatal Care Leave.
  • Employee Referral Scheme.
  • Private Medical & Dental Insurance.
  • Electric Vehicle Scheme.
  • Cycle to Work Scheme.
  • Training & Development, including additional qualifications and accreditations relevant to your role.
