Summary
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering and technology organisation for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their team based in Gosport.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a business delivering complex infrastructure, construction and refurbishment projects within a highly technical and operational environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering projects across a diverse estate portfolio ranging from refurbishment works through to technical facilities and new build developments.
The role will involve managing multiple stakeholders and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget while maintaining a high level of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the delivery of high-value and complex construction, infrastructure and refurbishment projects
- Maintaining strong relationships with customers, suppliers and key stakeholders
- Managing project budgets, cost plans and forecasting to ensure successful delivery
- Monitoring project performance and reporting progress against programme and financial targets
- Managing project documentation including bids, proposals and third-party documentation
- Leading risk management activities and ensuring quality, safety and compliance standards are maintained
- Overseeing project delivery across refurbishment, estate improvement and construction programmes
- Supporting project teams to ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently

Requirements
- Proven experience delivering construction, infrastructure or refurbishment projects
- Experience managing multiple projects and stakeholder groups simultaneously
- Strong understanding of RIBA stages and construction project delivery processes
- Knowledge of Building Regulations, environmental legislation and construction compliance requirements
- Experience working under NEC contracts
- Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations with experience acting as Client Representative or similar role
- Good understanding of civil engineering, infrastructure and building works methods
- Strong commercial, planning and project reporting capabilities

Qualifications
- Recognised Project Management qualification such as APM PPQ or Prince2
- Demonstrable Project Management capability at senior level preferred
