About the Role
A leading brand experience agency is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee a dynamic portfolio of pharmaceutical events, including:
- Medical congresses
- Standalone meetings
- Advisory boards
- Product launches
The role demands expertise in global event delivery, strong client-facing skills, and the ability to manage intricate logistics for events ranging from 10 attendees to 1,000+ participants.

Core Duties
- Assume full project ownership, from conception to post-event reconciliation
- Manage budgets closely and conduct supplier negotiations
- Source, advise and secure venues aligned with project requirements
- Lead and develop cross-functional teams (including in-house staff, vendors, and third parties)
- Ensure compliance (GxP, regulatory, and ethical standards) throughout all events
- Oversee onsite delivery and conduct post-event reviews
- Proactively address challenges in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Travel regularly to Europe (1–2x/month) for client and site visits
Requirements
Essential Criteria
✔ Proven track record in project management within pharmaceutical events (Clinical Events, Scientific Meetings, Launch Events, etc.) ✔ Strong client-f-facing experience, alongside relationship management ✔ Ability to handle complex logistics and manage multiple projects simultaneously ✔ Budget oversight expertise, with a detailed approach to financial planning ✔ Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills ✔ Supreme attention to detail in high-stakes environments ✔ stellar organisational and time management skills

Preferred Experience
⚡ Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulatory frameworks (GxP, galenicals, etc.) ⚡ Experience leading events for multi-national pharmaceuticals ⚡ Demonstrated ability to supervise virtual teams, including hybrid workshops
