About the opportunity
Are you an Energetic Project manager with excellent stakeholder skills looking for a new challenge?
We are recruiting a hands-on Snr Project Manager for a growing consultancy that specialises in Manufacturing, rail, local government and infrastructure.
About you:
- A proven track record of delivering projects end to end, with hands-on involvement in the work itself rather than only overseeing it.
- Experience of site-based or multi-location projects, such as surveys, audits, asset reviews or estate assessments.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, including cost analysis, forecasting and building business cases.
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large or incomplete datasets.
- Business analysis skills, such as process mapping, current-state and future-state analysis, and requirements gathering.
- Excellent stakeholder management, including gathering information from teams you don't manage.
- Clear written communication, with the ability to turn analysis into practical recommendations and reports for senior audiences.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver a strategic review of a large, multi-site asset portfolio.
- Visit sites to assess assets, oversee on-site activity and gather information.
- Work with teams across the client organisation to collect data and build an accurate picture of current practice.
- Analyse historical spend, current activity and forecasts to identify investment and maintenance needs.
- Map processes and develop recommendations for a future asset maintenance and investment model.
- Develop costed options to support the client's investment planning.
- Present findings and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Manage scope, timelines, risks and deliverables, and report progress to the client and internal team
Desirable experience:
- Experience in the rail industry or adjacent would be beneficial
- Experience with asset management, condition surveys, maintenance strategy or capital investment planning.
- Experience in consultancy or another client-facing advisory role.
- Exposure to the utilities sector or local government.
- A recognised project management qualification, such as APM, PRINCE2 or PMP, or a business analysis or asset management qualification, such as BCS or IAM.
- A business Analyst background would be beneficial
