About The Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to oversee critical operational projects within their retail division in Glasgow. This role is integral to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of retail operations across the organization, managing initiatives from strategic planning through to successful implementation. You will work with a dedicated team to drive improvements in store processes, supply chain logistics, and customer service delivery. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of retail environments and a proven ability to lead complex projects that deliver tangible business results, contributing to a culture of operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of key retail operations projects.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, including store managers, supply chain partners, and IT departments.
- Identify operational challenges and opportunities for improvement, proposing and implementing effective solutions.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Monitor project performance, reporting on progress, risks, and key performance indicators to senior management.

Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with a significant focus on retail or operations management.
- Demonstrated success in managing projects related to store operations, supply chain, or customer experience improvements.
- Strong understanding of retail business processes and challenges.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to travel to various retail locations as required by project needs.
