The Federated Data Platform (FDP)
The Federated Data Platform (FDP) is a major NHS transformation programme that enables organisations to use data and technology to improve patient care, operational performance and productivity across health and care systems.
Role Overview
As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead complex projects supporting the implementation and adoption of FDP capabilities across the NHS. You will manage project plans, risks, dependencies, resources and stakeholder engagement, ensuring delivery aligns with programme objectives, governance requirements and NHS priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of complex projects and workstreams across the Federated Data Platform programme, ensuring successful implementation and achievement of strategic objectives.
- Develop and maintain project plans, governance arrangements and delivery roadmaps, managing risks, issues, dependencies and resources to ensure successful outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with national, regional and local stakeholders, including NHS Trusts, Integrated Care Boards, suppliers and delivery partners, to drive programme adoption and delivery.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams spanning Product, Technical, Clinical, Operational, AI, Demand and Delivery, and Transforming Operational Delivery (TOD) functions to deliver integrated solutions.
- Provide high-quality reporting, assurance and recommendations to senior leaders and programme boards, supporting informed decision-making and programme governance.
- Drive benefits realisation and continuous improvement, ensuring FDP initiatives deliver measurable improvements in patient care, operational performance, productivity and system efficiency.
- Champion best practice in project and programme management, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and delivery excellence across the FDP programme.

Recruitment Details
