Senior Project Manager
We're looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Wisley Sewage Treatment Works team based in Wisley.
Location
Wisley
Hours
45 per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
About the Role
As Senior Project Manager, you'll be responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of construction and improvement works at Wisley Sewage Treatment Works. This role offers the opportunity to provide senior operational leadership across multiple live assets and projects within a highly regulated wastewater environment, ensuring that works are delivered without compromising treatment operations, environmental compliance, or public safety.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Project Manager, you'll be working within the Wisley Sewage Treatment Works Team, supporting them in delivering construction and improvement works safely and efficiently. Your day to day will include:
- Providing visible leadership across all construction and engineering activities, consistently demonstrating Kier's values in decision-making and communication
- Leading the planning, coordination, and delivery of capital and maintenance works to programme, cost, quality, and performance targets
- Championing a zero-harm culture and ensuring robust management of high-risk activities including confined spaces and lifting operations
- Building trusted relationships with clients, site operations teams, regulators, and alliance partners through honest communication and consistent delivery
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a multidisciplinary management team while fostering an inclusive, respectful working environment

This role of Senior Project Manager is great for you if:
- You have significant senior management experience within wastewater, utilities, or complex infrastructure construction
- You have a proven track record of delivering works in live operational environments
- You demonstrate a strong commitment to safety leadership, behavioural safety, and positive site culture
- You have experience working under NEC contracts and regulated client frameworks
- You're passionate about fostering wellbeing, mental health, and work-life balance across teams
