Senior Project Manager - Supply Chain

Location: Nottingham, UK (Hybrid)
Type: Contract Inside IR35/ Fixed Term Employment
Duration: Initial 3 Months (Likely Extension)
Start Date: ASAP

UST is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the planning and design phase of a high-profile, complex transformation programme for a leading UK client of ours.

This role will drive delivery readiness across three interdependent projects spanning Mainframe, SAP, Data Platforms, and third-party technology partners, with critical milestones and tight deadlines leading into the next phase of delivery.

The Role

  • Lead programme planning, governance, and mobilisation activities.
  • Manage complex dependencies across multiple workstreams and delivery teams.
  • Facilitate workshops and drive alignment across business, technology, and vendor stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain integrated project plans, managing risks, milestones, and delivery readiness.
  • Provide strong leadership, energy, and direction to teams operating in a fast-paced environment.
  • Engage and influence senior stakeholders to support timely decision-making and programme success.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience delivering large-scale business and technology transformation programmes.
  • Strong project planning and coordination skills across multiple teams and suppliers.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, communication, and leadership capabilities.
  • Technical background with the ability to understand complex architectures and enterprise technology delivery.
  • Experience working within environments involving SAP, Mainframe, Data Platforms, or similar enterprise systems.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and drive teams towards critical delivery deadlines.

Desirable Experience

  • Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Forecasting, or Logistics domain experience.
  • Previous experience managing programmes involving multiple third-party vendors.
  • Strong workshop facilitation and face-to-face stakeholder engagement skills.
