An new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a well-established, multidisciplinary property and construction consultancy with a strong and growing pipeline of major projects.

The business has an excellent reputation for delivering complex schemes across the public and private sectors, working with a range of high-profile clients and providing advice throughout the full project lifecycle.

Following a number of recent project wins and continued growth across key client accounts, the team is looking to strengthen its senior Project Management capability.

A key initial commission will see you take a leading role on a £100m+ complex redevelopment programme, incorporating multiple buildings, new build, refurbishment and major modernisation works.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take genuine ownership of a significant programme, work closely with senior client stakeholders and build towards Associate Director within a growing consultancy.

The Role

You will take a senior delivery and advisory role, managing complex projects from inception through to completion while becoming a trusted advisor to the client.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading projects and workstreams across major programmes
  • Managing the full project lifecycle from feasibility through to handover
  • Advising clients on strategy, risk, procurement, phasing and delivery
  • Coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams and contractors
  • Managing senior stakeholders and end-user groups
  • Overseeing programme governance, reporting, risk and assurance
  • Developing strong, long-term client relationships
  • Mentoring and supporting junior members of the Project Management team

About You

You will ideally have:

  • Strong consultancy-side Project Management experience
  • Experience delivering large-scale or complex projects/programmes
  • Exposure to public-sector or highly regulated environments
  • Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary project teams
  • A professional qualification such as MRICS, MAPM or MCIOB, or be working towards one
  • Ambition to progress towards Associate / Associate Director level
