Senior Project Manager (Technology Transformation)
Location: Leeds - Hybrid, 2 days per week in the office
Contract: 6 months initially, with potential extension
Salary/Rate: Competitive day rate, dependent on experience
Job Title Responsibilities
An established UK organisation is undertaking a significant technology transformation programme and is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to support the delivery of a new technology platform. You will work closely with the Transformation Lead and multiple third-party technology suppliers to ensure the programme remains on track, with responsibility for:
- Developing, managing, and maintaining an integrated project plan covering milestones, timelines, dependencies, and resource sequencing.
- Ensuring the technology blueprint is delivered and agreed following the vendor blueprinting phase.
- Establishing effective governance, reporting, and RAID management frameworks.
- Coordinating delivery across internal teams and third-party vendors.
- Supporting agile delivery practices and embedding effective ways of working and collaboration models.
- Monitoring supplier progress and ensuring agreed milestones and deliverables remain on track.
- Managing risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies through to project completion.
- Supporting knowledge transfer and ensuring appropriate delivery processes are embedded.

Requirements
The successful Senior Project Manager / Delivery Manager will have:
- Strong experience delivering technology transformation programmes.
- Proven experience managing complex projects from planning through to implementation.
- Strong project planning, milestone, and dependency management skills.
- Experience managing third-party suppliers / vendors and holding them accountable for delivery.
- Strong governance, reporting, and RAID management experience.
- Experience working across internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and collaborative ways of working.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills.
- A proactive, confident, and delivery-focused approach.

Experience within insurance, financial services, or another regulated environment would be advantageous.
