Lead One of the Most Significant Transformation Programmes in Housing.

I am working with a Housing Association based in North West to recruit for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the implementation of Totalmobile.

This is a high-profile, business-critical initiative that will shape the future of repairs and field service operations. Reporting into the wider Portfolio and Programme function, you'll take ownership of the project lifecycle, from mobilisation and governance through to implementation, change adoption and benefits realisation.

They are looking for someone who is invested in the long-term success of the programme and can add value from day one, helping shape the implementation approach while requirements and delivery plans are being defined.

The Totalmobile implementation sits within a broader transformation programme and will involve integrating and optimising a complex technology landscape.

You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, programme leadership, operational teams and external vendors, ensuring the project is delivered successfully while embedding meaningful business change across the organisation.

This role offers the opportunity to influence delivery methodology and project approach. Whilst the environment is mature in its governance and delivery practices, we are looking for someone pragmatic enough to apply the right methodology rather than simply following an agile-first approach.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
