Engineering Delivery Manager / Senior Project Manager

We’re exclusively partnering with an established engineering technology business to hire an Engineering Delivery Manager / Senior Project Manager.

Operating as part of a larger international engineering group, the UK business retains significant autonomy and combines software, hardware and real-world engineering technology, with products deployed across customers and partners internationally.

We’re looking for someone to join the Senior Leadership Team, take ownership of engineering delivery and lead a multidisciplinary technical team.

The Role

This is a hands-on delivery leadership role, rather than a traditional PMO or governance-led project management position.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you’ll take responsibility for a team of approximately six across Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering and Testing.

Your focus is simple: make sure projects get delivered successfully, on time and within budget. You’ll sit at the centre of engineering, customers, suppliers and leadership, ensuring technical resources remain aligned with customer requirements and the commercial priorities of the business.

Projects will span software development, professional services, internal product development, hardware integration, physical testing, international trials and customer deployments.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Technology Environment

You'll work across a combination of software, hardware and physical engineering products, with an environment including: Jira / Atlassian | Confluence | SharePoint | Microsoft Project | Microsoft Teams | AI tooling | Embedded software environments
