As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced and ambitious Senior Project Manager to join our team and lead the successful delivery of high-profile projects.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated project professional who excels at stakeholder management, project leadership, and driving results within challenging and fast-paced environments.
The Role
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading multiple projects or large-scale programmes from initiation through to completion. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards while managing client relationships and supporting the development of project teams.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, clients, and delivery teams, you will play a pivotal role in driving project success and contributing to Ambit's continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of complex projects.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and resources.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
- Ensure effective governance, reporting, and project controls are in place.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues proactively.
- Drive project performance and ensure successful delivery against objectives.
- Manage and mentor project managers and wider delivery teams.
- Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and stakeholder reviews.
- Provide regular progress updates to senior leadership and clients.
- Promote best practice project management methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You
You are a highly organised and results-driven project leader with a proven track record of delivering complex projects and managing senior stakeholder relationships.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Significant experience in a Senior Project Manager or Project Manager role.
- Demonstrable success delivering complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and risk frameworks.
- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
- Strong commercial awareness and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
- Exceptional problem-solving and organisational skills.

Desirable Qualifications
- Degree in Project Management, Business, Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- PRINCE2, PMP, APM, or equivalent project management qualification.
- Experience working across multiple project workstreams or programme environments.
- Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
