Senior Project Manager | Lancashire (Hybrid) | £45k to £55k
A fantastic client of ours is looking for a Senior Project Manager who gets things done. This isn't a role for someone who oversees from a distance; they want someone who gets close to the client, understands the problem, and drives delivery with real energy and accountability.
You'll be leading end-to-end software implementation projects in a client-facing environment, managing a varied portfolio and mentoring junior PMs within the team.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading end-to-end delivery of software implementation projects managing time, cost, quality, and scope
- Building genuine trusted relationships with client stakeholders from project team through to executive level
- Getting ahead of problems - identifying risks early and driving resolution rather than just escalating
- Supporting pre-sales activity through scoping, planning, and estimating
- Running Project Boards and Steering Committees internally and externally
- Producing and maintaining key project documentation including status reports and financial tracking
- Supporting, mentoring, and potentially line managing junior Project Managers
- Contributing to continuous improvement of delivery frameworks and processes

You'll need:
- Prior experience delivering software implementation projects in a client-facing environment
- A proven track record of getting projects over the line - on time and to a high standard
- Strong stakeholder management skills at all levels
- Commercially aware with experience managing project budgets
- Solid understanding of both waterfall and agile methodologies
- PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner or equivalent
- Willingness to travel to client sites across the UK as required

- Experience with SaaS or cloud-based software delivery
- Background managing programmes or portfolios
