Ready to step into a role where your project management experience really makes a difference?
We're working with an established and forward-thinking engineering firm in Pontypridd, South Wales, who are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their growing team.
This is an opportunity to work on a genuinely interesting portfolio of engineering projects, with the Local Authority sector through the SEWF forming a key part of the business. If you've worked in this environment before, you'll understand that these projects have their own pace, processes, and challenges – and that experience could be a major advantage.
This isn't your typical main contracting environment. You'll be operating in a setting where understanding the client, navigating stakeholder requirements, and delivering projects effectively is just as important as keeping programmes and budgets on track.
The Role
As a Senior Project Manager, you'll take ownership of projects from inception through to completion, coordinating internal teams, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
