Senior Project Manager
Up to £95,000 + Package | Stansted | Site-Based
We are currently recruiting for an exceptional Senior Project Manager to join an established and highly respected construction and fit-out contractor delivering complex projects across the UK.
With more than 30 years of industry experience, the business has built an excellent reputation for delivering technically challenging projects within specialist commercial and operational environments. This is an opportunity to join a growing team working on high-value, technically demanding fit-out and construction projects in Stansted, where quality, safety, programme and technical delivery are critical. They're looking for someone who combines strong project delivery experience with technical understanding, commercial awareness, leadership and the ability to build excellent relationships with clients and supply chains.
The Role
As Senior Project Manager, you'll take ownership of the successful delivery of complex construction and fit-out projects from pre-construction through to completion.
- You'll work closely with clients, consultants, commercial teams, subcontractors and site teams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, commercially and to the highest possible standard.
- The projects involve significant M&E elements and multiple stakeholders, so this is ideally suited to someone who thrives in technically demanding and fast-paced environments.
- You'll be expected to take ownership, make decisions and lead from the front.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
