Summary:
The senior Project Manager will look after multiple, complex IT Projects covering a wide range of technologies including, LAN / WAN and Firewalls, Networking, hosted VoIP Telephony solutions, Microsoft Azure, Endpoint technologies, SIEM Security, Mail and Data and SharePoint Migrations.
This role demands strategic thinking, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing Medium to large-scale IT projects.
This role will be based in our Hitchin office (hybrid working pattern, 3 days in office / week).
Role Responsibilities:
- Take charge of end-to-end project management and solution delivery, ensuring project cost, time, and quality parameters are met
- Provide direction and focus for projects by outlining requirements, design, governance, and delivery plans
- Foster and sustain trusted relationships with heads of function, senior management, and diverse internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare standard project documentation such as RAID logs, project plans, reports, revenue/cost forecasts, change requests and statements of work
- Identify project risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies, ability to run risk workshops.
- Act as the primary Client liaison, develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders

What we're looking for:
- Experience in a Senior Project Management role, with a strong focus on IT Infrastructure and Cloud migration projects
- Experience leading multi-function, multi-supplier teams on medium to large scale projects
- Strong Problem-solving skills, the ability to bring people together to find solutions to technical or migration challenges
- Track record of delivering client facing technical projects
- Advanced level in MS Project and Excel
- Highly experienced in project estimation and working with pre-sales teams to develop SoW’s
- Accreditation of project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 and AGILE.
- Advanced level presentation, written communication, and analytical skill
- Highly experienced with service transition processes and ITIL disciplines
- Delivery proficiency in major platforms (networks, Servers, SQL, Azure Cloud) and operating systems
- Experience of managing projects from a business perspective including budgeting, cost control, schedule adherence & critical path analysis
- Experienced in reporting project KPI’s to the Project Board through Highlight Reports and stage assessments
