Senior Project Manager – Large Scale Residential Development
Glasgow
Contract Scotland is delighted to be working in partnership with a leading residential developer to recruit an experienced Senior Project Manager for a major 600-unit development project in Glasgow.
This is a rare opportunity to join a highly regarded business delivering one of the city’s most significant large-scale residential developments. The project itself is both technically and commercially interesting, offering long-term security, strong career prospects, and the chance to lead a flagship scheme from a senior position.
We are keen to speak with ambitious construction professionals who have a strong track record in delivering large-scale residential or mixed-use developments and who thrive in complex, fast-paced environments.
The Role
As Senior Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of this substantial development, overseeing all operational, programme, commercial, and health & safety aspects of the project.

Working closely with senior leadership, site teams, consultants, and subcontractors, you will play a key role in driving quality, performance, and delivery throughout the lifecycle of the development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of a major 600-unit residential development in Glasgow
- Manage project programme, budgets, quality, and operational performance
- Coordinate and lead multidisciplinary construction teams
- Ensure health & safety standards are maintained at all times
- Build strong relationships with consultants, subcontractors, and stakeholders
- Identify and manage project risks and delivery challenges
- Drive programme efficiencies while maintaining exceptional build quality
- Provide leadership and mentoring across the wider project team

Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience delivering large-scale residential or mixed-use developments
- Strong leadership and team management capability
- Excellent commercial awareness and programme management skills
- Main contractor or residential developer background preferred
- Ability to manage complex projects from inception through to completion
- Relevant construction qualifications advantageous
