About the Role
Our client, a UK-based manufacturing organisation in the process industry, is undergoing a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) transformation. We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead this implementation end-to-end — owning delivery, stakeholder alignment, and risk/issue management across functional and technical workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end delivery plan for the D365 F&O implementation — scope, schedule, budget, resourcing, and RAID management.
- Act as the primary liaison between client business stakeholders (Finance, Supply Chain, Production/Plant Operations) and the implementation partner/technical team.
- Drive governance: steering committee reporting, milestone tracking, change control, and go-live readiness assessments.
- Manage cross-functional dependencies across Finance, Manufacturing Execution, Procurement, and Supply Chain modules within F&O.
- Lead cutover planning, UAT coordination, data migration checkpoints, and hypercare transition post go-live.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks specific to manufacturing/process industry environments (e.g., shop floor integration, batch/process manufacturing, quality management, regulatory compliance).
- Manage vendor/SI performance, resourcing, and commercial trade-offs where applicable.
- Provide clear, concise status reporting to senior client stakeholders and executive sponsors.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
