Senior Project Planner
Location: UK / National (Flexible / Hybrid)
Sector: Data Centres, Water & Engineering Consultancy
Base Salary: £75,000 – £85,000 (Dependent on experience)

Our client is a well-established international engineering consultancy delivering complex, high-value projects across the data centre, water and critical infrastructure sectors.
In response to continued growth and an expanding portfolio of major engineering programmes, they are seeking experienced Senior Project Planners with a strong technical understanding of multidisciplinary engineering projects.
The Role
- Will take responsibility for developing, managing and maintaining detailed project programmes across complex engineering and infrastructure projects, ensuring key milestones and delivery objectives are achieved.
- Will work closely with project managers, process engineers and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate project schedules, monitor progress and identify potential programme risks.
- Will undertake critical path analysis, resource planning, progress reporting and schedule forecasting, supporting effective project controls throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Will provide planning expertise across major data centre, water and infrastructure programmes, supporting project delivery, risk mitigation and overall programme performance.

The Person
- Will ideally hold a degree qualification in Chemical and Process Engineering, Project Management or a related technical discipline.
- Will offer a successful track record in project planning or project controls within an engineering consultancy, ideally with exposure to water, wastewater, process engineering or major infrastructure projects.
- Will possess strong technical knowledge of project scheduling, critical path analysis and programme management, with experience using Primavera P6 or similar planning software.
- Will be an accomplished communicator with strong analytical and organisational skills, capable of coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams and managing complex project requirements.
