Senior Project Planner
London | Hybrid Working
£60,000 – £70,000 + Benefits

We’re working with a specialist consultancy that is expanding its planning team and looking for an experienced Senior Project Planner to support the delivery of major infrastructure and capital investment programmes across the UK.
This is an opportunity to work alongside experienced project professionals, providing high-quality planning expertise and helping clients navigate complex programmes from early development through to delivery.
The Opportunity
You’ll take ownership of project programmes, working closely with project managers, commercial teams, contractors, and wider stakeholders to ensure programmes remain achievable, controlled, and aligned with project objectives.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and managing detailed project programmes using Primavera P6
- Monitoring progress, critical paths, milestones, and key programme risks
- Identifying trends, opportunities, and potential areas of delay
- Producing clear and accurate programme reports for senior stakeholders
- Supporting change control, schedule assurance, and programme governance
- Providing planning insight and advice throughout the project lifecycle
- Working collaboratively with delivery and commercial teams to maintain programme performance

What We’re Looking For
You’ll ideally have a background as a Project Planner or Senior Project Planner within construction, infrastructure, engineering, or another major project environment.
Key experience includes:
- Strong Primavera P6 capability
- Understanding of NEC contracts and programme management
- Experience working on complex infrastructure or capital programmes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent working knowledge of Time Impact Analysis
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
