SENIOR PLANNER – MAJOR PROGRAMME
Sheffield - Hybrid Working
£60,000 - £70,000 + Benefits
Sole British Nationals Only / SC Clearance Required
Are you an experienced Senior Planner looking for your next opportunity within a major programme environment?
I'm currently supporting a leading consultancy that is looking to appoint a Senior Planner to join their growing team in Sheffield.
You'll be working across complex, high-value programmes, taking ownership of planning activities and working closely with project managers, commercial teams, contractors and senior stakeholders to drive programme performance.
The role will involve:
- Developing and managing detailed programmes using Primavera P6
- Taking ownership of programme performance, milestones and critical path
- Analysing progress and identifying delays, trends, risks and opportunities
- Producing programme reporting and providing clear insight to senior stakeholders
- Supporting change management, schedule assurance and programme governance
- Working closely with commercial and delivery teams
- Supporting programme strategy throughout the project lifecycle
- Providing planning expertise and challenge to help maintain delivery performance

We're looking for:
- Strong Senior Planner / Project Planner experience
- Background in major infrastructure, engineering, construction or defence programmes
- Strong Primavera P6 experience
- Experience working within complex programme environments
- Good understanding of NEC contracts and programme management
- Experience with Time Impact Analysis would be advantageous
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Confident stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and challenge when required
