Senior Project & Programme Administrator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dynamic Senior Project & Programme Administrator to join the Strategy Delivery & Transformation Department and support the delivery of the Education in Focus Programme.

You will work in partnership with Project Managers, Change Managers and programme sponsors to support the planning and delivery of specified projects, using the University’s best-practice project framework. This will include coordinating and servicing key programme boards and meetings, overseeing project communications, and maintaining key documentation such as project timelines and risk logs.

About You

You will work accurately to deadlines and in accordance with relevant policies and procedures, bringing excellent communication and organizational skills and a keen eye for detail. An engaged team member, you will also be able to work independently and manage your own workload. You will have a level of skill, experience, and qualification equivalent to a professional qualification, together with excellent IT skills. Professional and clear-thinking, you will act as a role model within the Strategy Delivery & Transformation Department. If you're enthusiastic about this opportunity but don't feel you meet every requirement, we would still encourage you to apply. We recognize that skills and experience can be gained in different ways.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
