This position offers specific project support services to the International Health Coordination Centre based in the Policy and International Health Directorate. Responsibilities include planning and organising various project activities and work streams across the Directorate and the broader organisation.
The post-holder will support specific operational administrative tasks necessary to deliver programs and projects such as the monitoring and evaluation of the PHW International Health Strategy on time and within budget. These programs often involve internal and external stakeholders and have fixed timelines. This role is crucial for coordinating key participants to advance the workstreams.
The Project Support Officer must possess exceptional communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, capable of managing, developing, and influencing both people and projects. Duties include timely and accurate project and program reporting, supporting quality assurance processes for individual projects, and contributing to the creation of reports and papers for relevant meetings.
Working independently without daily supervision, the post-holder will escalate any identified risks and issues through the appropriate channels.

Responsibilities
The Project Support Officer is responsible for the effective planning and organisation of a range of project activities and work streams including:

- Handling varied Inquiries
- Managing Administrative Tasks
- Ensuring Compliance
- Developing and Implementing Procedures
- Engaging in Quality and Service Improvement
- Respect and safeguard confidentiality and sensitive information
