Role
Grace House is a therapeutic centre for women with multiple complex needs. Our holistic programs support them in their efforts to reintegrate into longer term accommodation and community.
This post is restricted to female applicants in order to reduce barriers of access for the all-female residents.
We are looking for a Senior Project Worker who will assist the Manager in all aspects of organisation and delivery of the support service; including decisions related to staffing matters, such as recruitment, allocation of cases within the staff team and supervision of staff.
You will also provide appropriate emotional and practical support to service users assisting in budgeting, debt management, addiction support, household routines, arranging specific specialist help, liaising with other external agencies, and so forth.
Your other tasks involve assisting the manager with all aspects of office administration including financial management, Health & Safety, relevant risk assessments, legislative requirements, office management, vehicles, maintenance, monitoring and quality assurance and dealing with comments/ complaints about the service.

We Are Looking For Candidates With:
- Experience of working in a residential social care environment
- Experience of working with homeless and homeless women
- Experience of working within and leading a team
- Knowledge of current legislation regarding regulation of care and protection of vulnerable adults
- An SVQ4 in Social Care, Promoting Independence or equivalent as listed by SSSC as appropriate for a Housing Support Worker, or willingness to work towards

Please note that one reference must be from your church minister or leader to endorse your live and active Christian faith and commitment. Successful applicants for this post will require membership of the PVG scheme.

- Salary Range: £30,122 – £31,733 pro rata
- Contract: Permanent, Full Time and Part-Time
