About The Role

This role provides senior business partnering leadership across P&P (Private & Public, including Managed Services) and the BT Business Transformation Portfolio, ensuring that transformation activity lands effectively within the business and delivers measurable outcomes.

The position acts as the critical interface between Business Units and Transformation, owning how change is sequenced, absorbed and optimised across complex, contract-led and service-critical environments.

The role is accountable for:

  • Shaping how and when transformation lands into the business
  • Driving business readiness, adoption and value realisation
  • Leading alignment between Business Owners, Delivery teams and senior leadership
  • Ensuring the business can respond and pivot rapidly to changing priorities

Operating at senior level, the role moves beyond coordination and governance to proactive orchestration of cross-business activity, ensuring delivery translates into tangible customer, commercial and operational benefit.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead and orchestrate cross-business transformation delivery across P&P, ensuring alignment to segment strategy, proposition evolution and contract commitments, translating delivery into measurable business outcomes.
  • Own how transformation lands into the business, ensuring effective sequencing, readiness and adoption, while safeguarding live service continuity and contractual performance.
  • Provide senior oversight of performance, priorities, risks, issues and dependencies, driving pace, accountability and timely intervention to maintain delivery confidence and enable rapid decision-making.
  • Own and lead P&P Progress updates at Business Unit Reviews (BURs) and executive reporting, shaping the narrative, driving accountability and enabling informed decision-making at senior leadership level.
  • Act as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, shaping discussions, influencing decisions, constructively challenging where required, and ensuring alignment across P&P, Business Units and the wider transformation agenda.
  • Establish and maintain the interface between Business Owners and Delivery teams, ensuring clarity of ownership, priorities and outcomes across the transformation lifecycle.
  • Establish and maintain fit-for-purpose governance across business and transformation teams, ensuring clear ownership, transparency and readiness for executive oversight and assurance.
  • Drive execution across complex, contract-led delivery landscapes, proactively managing interdependencies, constraints and trade-offs to ensure successful outcomes while protecting service and customer commitments.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
