About the Role

We are searching on behalf of our client for this role. This position is not with OVI.

We are seeking a Senior Prompt Engineer to lead the design, optimization, and scaling of advanced prompting strategies for large language models (LLMs). This role is pivotal in delivering context-aware, safe, and efficient AI outputs across complex enterprise use cases. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to integrate prompts into application workflows, autonomous agents, and RAG pipelines, continuously improving performance, reducing latency, and ensuring output consistency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement advanced, dynamic prompts tailored to business-specific use cases.
  • Optimize LLM performance by reducing token consumption, latency, and hallucinations.
  • Integrate prompts into agent-based systems, APIs, and RAG architectures.
  • Develop prompt frameworks and reusable templates for scalable deployment.
  • Establish evaluation, benchmarking, and regression testing mechanisms.
  • Implement guardrails to mitigate prompt injection and unsafe outputs.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical prompt logic.
  • Maintain a version-controlled prompt repository with continuous improvements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
